Crazy Princess

Kailtin was so cute with her friend Ellie playing dress up! Kaitlin loved making things even sillier by adding cookie glasses!

Poetry from a 3 year old

Kaitlin has a very poetic view of the world. I have already forgotten some of the clever things she has said, but I do remember one of the cute things she said recently. She was eating a melted marshmallow and said, "This is like eating hot, melted snow." I just lover her!

Kaitlin loves Gogee

Kaitlin loves her brother, Logan. She called him Gogee before she could say Logan and we all use that name every once in a while because it is so cute. Lately she has been saying that she wants to marry Logan. Logan loves her and plays with her all the time, but he draws the line at marrying her. I told him that it is just her way of saying that she loves him. All I can say is that she has good taste in men.

Arnold in the Snow

On Valentine's Day we went to our favorite place to play in the snow, Arnold, Ca. We had a lot of fun sledding and having snowball fights. It was warm so we were peeling off layers as the day went. Kailtin went sleeding with both of her brothers and kept going up bigger and bigger hills. After hours of playing in the snow and wearing ourselves out, we headed down the hill to Murphy's for dinner. The streets were busy with lots of shoppers. After checking out some of our favorite shops, we headed back home. Playing with my sweet hearts was my favorite way to spend Valentine's day.

7 Gypsies Paper Tray

I made this 7 gypsies tray for Jasmine's store, Jazzy Crafts in Castro Valley, Ca. I had so much fun making this project. I used 7 Gypsies paper and modified the basic design from the 7 gypsies packaging. I used losts of stuff from my stash. Some of it is really old. It always feels great to use stuff from my stash. It helps me justify keeping some of my old stuff . I definitely plan to make another sometime.

CHA 2010

Love this Cosmo Cricket box. I love the paper flower!
The Dear Lizzy line is a great combination of fun pastels and cute accents like kites and bicycles. That is Lizzy Kartcher, the designer on the left. Wow! A scrapbook celebrity.

I am enjoying all things vintage right now, so Melissa Frances stuff just makes me smile.

I love the 7 Gypsies paper trays and I love this example. I am going to have to scraplift this!

Prima Marketing made the cutest cupcakes with their flowers. They were gorgeous.

I had a great time at CHA in Anaheim. I took a great class by Melissa Frances and another one about binding books. I made three adorable mini books. I shopped at the retailer show on Saturday and spent too much money. I bought the cute Imaginescence Birdy paper . I saw all the new product releases at the WholeSale show on Sunday and would have spent too much money if I could have bought stuff. I took alot of great pictures. I loved all the beautiful examples from the show. I could have and should have taken even more pictures. Next time I will take more. :-) I drove down Saturday night with Julie and Jasmine. We had fun chatting the whole way down. I drove back by myself on Sunday night. I stopped by Janet's on the way back home. I called Janet on the drive home and she kept me company until I made it home at 1:30. Thank goodness. I was so sleepy when I called her around 11:00. I never would have made it home if I hadn't been for talking to Janet.

Cute Donut

Kaitlin was at Emma's house for playgroup. Right before we were going, Kaitlin said that she was hungry. I showed her a tiger shaped chocolate animal cracker and asked her "Do you want a cute animal cracker?" She said "No, I want a cute chocolate donut." I was laughing so hard.
They had mini donuts earlier and I guess she wanted another one!
